Privacy Policy

MEHRVA is a private signaling app for two trusted people. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We do not sell personal data and we do not run advertising networks inside the app.

Who we are

What MEHRVA is for

MEHRVA lets two people create one mutually confirmed private connection and send a gentle “I’m thinking of you” signal (a Mehr). There are no public profiles, followers, discovery, or social feeds.

Moral use and respectful purpose

MEHRVA is for kind, lawful, halal, consensual use only. It is designed for trusted people who both choose to connect and treat each other with care.

MEHRVA is not for secrecy, harassment, pressure, unwanted contact, impersonation, or any purpose that disrespects another person. Either user can end or block a connection at any time.

Information we collect

• Account: email address, password (hashed by our auth provider), and the display name you choose.
• Connection data: pairing confirmations, your active connection, and private Mehr events between the two of you.
• Preferences: notification sound/mood settings, quiet mode preferences, and similar product settings.
• Device tokens: push notification tokens so we can deliver Mehr alerts when permitted by you and your device.
• Diagnostics: limited technical logs needed to keep the service reliable and secure (for example error events).

What we do not collect

• Your contacts address book
• Precise location for advertising or tracking
• Public posts, likes, or social graphs
• Payment card data in V1 (there are no in app purchases)

How we use information

• Create and secure your account
• Establish mutual pairing and one active connection
• Deliver Mehr events and optional notifications
• Show private Moments history to the two connected people
• Prevent abuse (rate limits, blocks, audit events)

Sharing

We use infrastructure providers to run the product (currently including Supabase for backend/auth/database and Firebase Cloud Messaging for push delivery). They process data only to provide these services. Your Mehr history is visible only to the two people in the active connection, subject to our security controls.

Retention

We keep account and connection data while your account is active. If you unlink, block, or delete your account, we remove or restrict access to connection data according to product rules and legal retention needs (for example short lived security logs).

Account deletion

You can request account deletion by emailing usmanghias@gmail.com. We will remove or restrict account and connection data according to product rules and legal retention needs.

Children

MEHRVA is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.
